Blue's story To Tell a Lie won second-place in the young writers contest of Balticon 48, the 48th iteration of The Maryland Regional Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention. The contest was advertised in English classes throughout the state. Even more impressively, she and Teddy Corrales collaboratively wrote another story, Darker Horizons in about two hours (using google docs), which finished first! First place was worth $150, split three ways, while second place was worth $100.
