Ann Elizabeth Keleher was born on January 27, 1933 and died on May 23rd, 2013. Jenny and I, together with our families, scattered her ashes at the Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve on the day after Thanksgiving, November 29th, 2013. Mom's ashes were preserved in a beautiful water-dissolvable urn made of Himalayan Rock Salt. Mom's sister Kathleen could not be there, but we called her from the shoreline.

Lake Erie was always the backdrop to living in Sandusky. The Sheldon preserve was one of Mom and Dad's favorite places to walk, no matter how cold. Mom and Dad owned at least three different sailboats, and dad built and sailed iceboats.
