In February, we went to Quebec City for the last weekend of their Winter Carnival. This is a several-week-long event affair where the streets of Quebec are filled w/ snow sculptures, horse-drawn carriages, kids tooting their long red horns, toboggan, innertube, and inflatable raft slides, and lots of alcohol. Saturday morning when we went outside it was -1 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunday when we came out of the dinner restaurant it was snowing heavily. Truly a wonderful (short) vacation (two full days there, two full days driving).
